Margaret, Line Dancing Instructor

Hello, my name is Margaret Moulton, and I am a Linedance Instructor with close to 30 years teaching experience. I started this journey in the UK, 1995, where I went to my first “Linedance”, with no musical or dance background. The Instructors stated they would teach to absolute beginners; it was the era of “Achy Breaky Heart” and I was excited to learn.

Well that night I never laughed so hard at myself…. They made it look so easy, I understood every word they said, but I just couldn’t make my feet do it…..in the right order or direction. That night has given me an intuitive patience for new dancers, which my students are appreciative of.

Fast Forward, to 2024….I run my own classes most nights, plus some day classes, work for the City of London teaching thru “play your way”, as well as contract out to other agencies who want Linedance lessons. I teach 3 levels: absolute beginners, experienced beginners and improvers/intermediates, as well as all age groups from a family setting with children 8 and up, adults and retirees. I also teach one-offs for social events such as birthday parties, barn dances or Fundraisers.
